Learning to Walk

My son is 13 months and 2 weeks old and he is beginning to walk by himself. He is now exploring parts of the house by himself. I remember when his sister was learning to walk at around 1 year old, I was concerned that she might hurt herself falling down or bumping into the wall.

However, I have learn that a child's karma is his own from his previous lives and as a result of his deeds and will fall or bump, we cannot change that. With this understanding, we as parents should do our due diligence to remove any unsafe environment and encourage our toddlers to walk instead of discouraging for fear of hurting themselves.
